The Common Grant Application® is an online grant management system for grantmakers. Grantmakers can receive, track, review, evaluate and manage online and paper-based LOIs, grant applications, grants and grant reports.

How it works

Grantseekers open an account and provide information about their organization and programs. As a grantmaker, you open an account and provide information about your organization and its grantmaking interests. Grantseekers perform research on your organization and if they think there is a match and it meets your basic funding criteria they submit an online application to your grantmaking organization. You can:

- Manage LOIs, grant applications, grants and grant reports.
- Manage LOI and application questions.
- Receive and review Web or paper-based LOIs and applications.
- Assign, score, rate and rank LOIs and applications.
- Approve and reject LOIs and applications.
- Schedule payments.
- Receive and review grant reports.
- Manage documents.
- Generate and export or print various reports.
- Provide real-time status updates.

You can control the privacy and sharing of your information. The applications grantseekers submit to you can only be seen by you and the grantseeker.
