Elgin Arts Funding We are looking to fund programs that build an organization's capacity or launch a new project outside of an organization's normal operations.
Emergency Grant Program Through 2012, but on a temporary basis, the Palmer Foundation is making available a 1 to 2 matching grant, with a maximum match of $10,000 if the applicant raises $20,000 in new funds. --one Emergency Grant per organization per year, AND YOU CANNOT GET BOTH A CAPACITY GRANT AND EMERGENCY GRANT IN 2012 --the organization must demonstrate the crisis with their budget by a drop in government funds, a loss of donors, a reduction in ticket sales, etc. --the 1 to 2 match is meant to be used as a tool to cultivate new donors to give and continue to support your organization --Funds will match new monies demonstrated to be acquired after the grant is applied for --deadline for raising the matching funds is 12/31/12 --APPLICATIONS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED ON-LINE BUT WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY TIME (exception to the grant application schedule)
