FCS was founded in 1943. We are located in Nashville, TN, but serve clients throughout the state in a variety of services ranging from in-person counseling to phone-based crisis counseling. In the last fiscal year, our staff served a total of 195,366 clients. In all of our programs, we place a special focus on meeting community needs for child well-being and mental health counseling services. For example, our counselors help clients who have experienced crisis, trauma, abuse, and violence. We offer group and individual counseling, as well as specialized attachment and adoption services to assist children in the foster care system and school-based conflict resolution services.
