Achieve is a tuition-free educational program serving low-income middle school students from Boston, Massachusetts. By providing academic and social enrichment through a rigorous and engaging six-week summer program with ongoing academic year tutoring and support, Achieve seeks to help students increase their academic skills, motivation and self-confidence. The program is guided by the core values of respect for self, respect for others and honesty.
Since the program’s inception in 2008, Achieve has been hosted on the campus of the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachussetts. Achieve utilizes Noble and Greenough’s 501 (c)(3) status although all respective fundraising efforts and bank accounts are held separately. Nobles offers in-kind donations to Achieve such as administrative support, space and the use of its 501(c)(3) status because it reflects the school’s mission of inspiring leadership for the public good.
