  • Mission:
  • The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is dedicated to guiding and supporting all youth, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, toward the discovery and fulfillment of their individual potential.

  • History:
  • For over 15 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people ages 6-18 from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances. Our Club has actively sought to enrich the lives of girls and boys whom other youth agencies have had difficulty reaching. We are dedicated to ensuring that our community's disadvantaged youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures. In a world that has never seemed more threatening and devoid of promise for a disproportionate number of America's children, the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac provides a tangible measure of hope. The Club offers young people what they need and want most - adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive, activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. A youth development strategy underlies all Boys & Girls Club programs and fosters a sense of belonging, competence, usefulness and worth to help build confidence and self-esteem. The Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac is part of a nationwide affiliation of local, autonomous organizations and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, working to help youth of all backgrounds become responsible citizens and leaders. We are facility based, employing over 40 professional staff, supplemented by over 300 volunteers, and offering daily access to a broad range of programs in 5 core areas of: Character and Leadership Development, Education and Careers, Health and Life Skills, Arts, Sports, Fitness and Recreation. Today over 1,500 at risk boys and girls are in need and taking advantage of our programs, activities and services.
