MISSION OF APDU
To promote peace and reconciliation among the people of Northern Uganda (Acholi Sub-region) by involving families and communities in promoting and protecting human rights to uplift the economic and social status of the vulnerable groups into self reliance and responsible citizens for future sustainable developments.

Action for Peace and Development- Uganda (APDU) registered as CBO in Gulu district, Northern Uganda on 14 Nov 2005 and Reg. No. CDR/145. On 25 April 2006, it has fully registered with National NGOs Board Kampala Uganda, as National NGOs Registration number is S.5914/6181. APDU is a charity organization, non-political, non-profit making and non-governmental organization. The organization is committed to deliver equal services to the needy basing on its Christian principle of ?love your neighbors as you love your self.?
