  • Mission:

    • To provide high school students (age 16-18) with an experience of the American Civil War by having them reenact American Civil War battles, 19th Century American life, and Civil War camping. All of these activities will engender appreciation and knowledge of what Americans went through during the four bloodiest, saddest, but amazing four years in American history.

  • History:

    • Last year, I had some students attend two of my reenactments for extra-credit from two of my International Baccalaureat History of the Americas class. The response was overwhelmingly wonderful, exceeding my expectations. Fresh with that success, I decided to try to establish a school club and open this up to all students at my school, which I have done beginning this school year.
