Background
Abiding Light Ministries, a faith-based non-profit charitable organizations, was formed in 2000 for the purpose of providing for the needs of orphaned children in third-world countries.
2000
Formed in 2000 as a Christian organization to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. After visiting Kenya, Uganda, India and Philippines we saw a need to provide shelter, food, clothing, and an education to the orphans of the remote villages of these countries.
In 2006 work started on purchasing land and beginning construction of a 200 bed orphanage in Nalgonda, A.P., India.
We are now caring for 25 orphans in a rented facility awaiting completion of construction of new facilities on the purchased property.
