A 501c3 not-for-profit incorporated animal rescue located in Barnsdall, OK, Osage county. We rescue all animals and provide needed medical care or rehab. We locate forever homes for each animal. If the animal is deemed unadoptable, then the animal will live out his or her life at 7th Hope.
- History:
Sheryl King was a foster parent for an animal rescue for over 10 years with the dream of opening her very own animal rescue. In August of 2008 her dream became reality. Sheryl moved to 40 acres in Barnsdall, OK to begin her quest of opening her own animal rescue. The rescue opened in August of 2008, and by July 2009 her rescue was incorporated as a not-for-profit business, and had received her determination letter from the IRS as being a 501c3 charity. Today the rescue houses around 50 dogs and 25 cats/kittens, and a few other small animals. 7th Hope operates on donations and grants alone.
