2005
The growing shortage of science-based talent represents a serious problem for our nation. Science-based expertise is the heart of our high-technology culture, society and economy. To help address these challenges and to help prevent juvenile delinquency among young people, Abundant Actions for Children, Youth, and Families was created in 2002. We are focusing our resources on after-school education and youth development programs. Abundant Actions recognizes that nurturing the culture of excellence and leadership in our young scholars is a strategic and an essential investment in the US national interest and our country global future and stature.
Funded in 2002, by Dr rer pol James Jordan, Abundant Actions was first incorporated on February 26, 2005 as Abundant Actions for Children, Youth and Families, performing various community actions across cities and states. Our founder, Dr James Jordan, recognized the important role after-school education, volunteerism, and community actions play in modern societies. So in the early days of the organization, he built a strong foundation for our corporate community programs. At the heart of which is a belief that services provided to children and youth make the world, in the long run, a better place.
The IRS recognizes our organization as a tax-exempt, 501(C)(3) public charity. The purpose of the organization is to support communities with diverse and innovative programs.
