• History:

POPCS began as a pre-school in the fall of 1980 with 25 students in response to the community need for an outstanding pre-school. Each succeeding year a grade was added until 1989 when the school had an enrollment of 255 students pre-school through grade 6. We moved to our current location in 1996 and added a full Middle School then High School. This will be our sixth High School graduating class and we currently serve 940 students from 6 weeks of age through High School. In April of 2009 we opened our Early Learning Center and in August of 2009 we opened our Fine Arts Center and Adminstrative building. The dedication of the first phase of our Athletics Complex will take place later this month. Phase 1 consists of multipurpose playing fields, 8 lane track, tennis courts and bleachers. We continue as a mission and ministry of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church to change lives, equip students for the 21st Century, and expand the Gospel reaching the next generation. We are one of the few Christian schools in this area to not require a profession of Christian faith in order to attend.
