  • Mission:
  • The Cleo Eulau Center is dedicated to promoting lifelong resiliency in children and youth by strengthening the caring capacity of the adults who influence their lives. CEC accomplishes this through its two programs: the Collaborative Counseling Program (CCP), which provides direct psychotherapy services to youth on probation, incarcerated or at-risk of offending, including transformative individual and group therapy and a transition program to facilitate successful reentry into and graduation from public high school; and the Resilience Consultation Program (RCP), which serves teachers and students in underperforming schools, helping teachers to use their influential position in the classroom to establish caring and effective relationships with their students and to build students’ strengths, resilience and belief in their ability to succeed. CEC serves schools in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties of California, supporting students and educators with counseling and consultation services.

The overarching goal of the Cleo Eulau Center is to promote resilience and connectedness in students, educators and school communities. The goals for the programs are: 1) Collaborative Counseling Program’s goal is to provide high-risk teens who are victims of enduring trauma, an opportunity to become competent, confident, and caring individuals; and 2) The Resilience Consultation Program’s goal is to build teachers’ capacity to promote student engagement and success.

  • History:
