  • Mission:
  • Bible Teachers International, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) faith-based nonprofit organization made up of residents in Harris and Montgomery counties, Texas. Bible Teachers International is dedicated to developing leadership and empowering adults and youth to improve their lives and their communities through a holistic approach.
The Mission of Bible Teachers International is first and foremost to lead people into a committed and faithful relationship with Jesus Christ. Through preaching and teaching of the Word of God, we will reach out to those who have been hurt, abused, misunderstood, and neglected. Through our outreach programs, we work to restore people back into society and help them to become productive citizens. Love is the key to our success and as we show the same love that Christ has shown us, we anticipate a positive impact and a new beginning for all. Our mission is to provide a variety of community-oriented programs to the communities in which we are located. These innovative programs confront social problems identified by the community. High priority concerns are employment issues, education, counseling, youth and family dynamics, alcohol and drug abuse, and spiritual values. Bible Teachers International believes that by working together, residents, young and old, can improve the spiritual, social, economic, and physical condition of their lives and the community as a whole.

  • History:
  • Initially formed in 1984 in South Florida, Bible Teachers International began its Youth Advance Project in 2002. The project focus is to establish a venue where youth can come together to discuss their spiritual as well as natural concerns. On average 50-175 youths has participated in this forum held monthly. Because of the various issues and problems that were revealed during these monthly gathering, Bible Teachers International opened its Youth Facilities in Indiantown, Fl and Spring, Texas in 2009, working in partnership with institutions and other non-profits organizations to ensure that community issues of the youth are addressed. We challenge the youth participants to strive for educational excellence, and to become productive members of their communities. We are devoted to empowering youth through educational opportunity and renewing hope for their future. Our program involves tutoring and mentoring of youths 13 and older. Our Job Skills Readiness program prepares them for job search and employability. So that our youth can obtain hands -on practical experience, we have developed Pathway to Careers Program: a career mentoring program. Our members, young and old have grabbed their hammers and installed vinyl siding on an entire house in addition to working with Martin County Habitat for Humanity who builds houses for those who could not otherwise afford them.
