BBRHC supportive housing program mission is to facilitate the fundamental skills required for basic daily living and healthy decision making. Our mission is restoration of lives through licensed social program services, guidance, advocacy, case management services, referrals, inreach/outreach services and support networking. We focus on transformation of lives rather than just housing. • History:
  • The Breakthrough Believers Recovery and Healing Center 501c3 non profit organization emerged from a vision I, Pamela Duvall-Bateman received from God following my own personal battles with addiction and homelessness. Breakthrough Believers Recovery and Healing Services was incorporated in September of 2009. We celebrated the grand opening of our Supportive Transitional Housing Program and emergency shelter for homeless single women with children. For the period September 1, 2009 through present we were an all-volunteer organization. I’ve worked full-time volunteer as the Program Director have put in more than 7,000 hours of professional services volunteer time. Also, I oversees a small staff of recruited volunteers, as well as the day to day operations of client interviews, client assessments, case management, group facilitation, client screening, and processing eligible applicants for enrollment.
I understand the pitfalls, setbacks, and dysfunctional decision making that leads individuals into a life of addiction. I also understand what it takes to conquer and overcome. Many addicts are faced with fear of failure and fear of success. Both have a negative consequence that results in the inability to progress in life. I understand how to identify those negative beliefs, once we’ve identified with that negative belief we must replace these negative scripts with positive self-affirming scripts. I realized that positive self affirming scripts helps us to move toward personal growth, achievement and success this is what Breakthrough Believers is all about.
I have designed this program from experience of what it took for me to turn a life of self destruction around to be a productive contributing citizen in society. I am its creator, single director of operations, and a powerful voice for women and men in recovery. BBRHC under the direct supervision of the BBRHC Board of Directors, while I, Mrs. Pamela Duvall-Bateman Founder act as the Program Director/Dir. of Operations
Furthermore, after which I recruited volunteers and established the Board of Directors, and upon submission of IRS EIN#, IRS 501c3 determination approval letter, registration with the Central Contract Registry/CCR, approved State of Michigan vendor to perform goods and services, GMS/Grant Management System, ORCA official certification, DUNNS #831573576, approved Kent county vendor, approved for State of Michigan C&PE Express/EFT payment system, approved DHS provider to perform goods/services, Fundraiser Solicitation License MICS43457, licensing approval doing business with the State of Michigan, approved MDCH Michigan Department of Community Health, Substance Abuse Licensing Bureau, license supported by Network 180 coordinating agency for Kent county to provide faith based licensed Alcohol and Drug Treatment services.
