General

  • Mission:
  • Many of the problems threatening America’s future
don’t require sweeping legislation or policy changes
to solve them. However, these problems require an
educated and motivated public who will roll up their
sleeves, support common-sense ideas and work
    together for the common good.
America’s economic future is at the center of
America’s capacity to maintain our freedoms and
national way of life in a troubled world.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization engaged in
public education, the Center for America (CFA)
focuses on three aspects of America’s economic
future where we can spark citizen awareness and
involvement leading to a more secure future.
    • Eliminating Barriers to Free Enterprise
    • Strengthening the Rule of Law
    • Building Economic Self-Reliance
In these categories, CFA produces nonpartisan
educational campaigns that reach tens of millions
of people weekly using print, electronic and social
    media.
These campaigns are designed to enable the
public to understand their self-interest in helping
to fix problems. We connect the public with
resources, role models, partners and ideas to help
    them succeed.
One of CFA’s core strengths is collaborating
effectively with others whose research, knowledge
and operations enable us to leverage the national
impact of our diverse alliance partners.
This enables CFA to avoid ‘reinventing the wheel’
and makes us a prized partner: We create and
    implement campaigns that generate public
    awareness and involvement.
    Our current partners include:
    • State Chambers
    • Trade Associations
    • Community Colleges
    • State Government Agencies
    • Major Corporations
    • Foundations
    • Community Groups
    • The U.S. National Guard
    • Nonprofit Training and Service Groups
    • Professional Societies
    • Small and Mid-size Companies
CFA campaigns are deliberately designed to reach
across the political divide to engage the public
through American ideals that are fundamental to
    our nation’s core values.
Media outlets as diverse as NPR, Rush Limbaugh,
Fox News, PBS, John Stossel, CNBC, Salem Radio,
Midnight Truckers Network, CBS, MSNBC, ABC,
CNN, Daily Caller, AOL News, BBC and scores more
covered our campaigns in 2011. Our total media
audience was more than 190 million people.
