  • Our Mission is to bring hope to the children of the world, to help them achieve their goals, and help to end the cycle of their poverty.

  • History:
  • In June of 2009 about 67 children were turned away onto the streets, because they could not pay fees for their education and care. These 67 children came to James Jesudas, president of ACFA, asking him for help. Realizing that to truly provide for these children and make a difference in their lives, James Jesudas and Brittni Brady started Arrayah Children’s Foundation of America. So since June 2009 we have been caring for the children, providing their education, food, and other basic necessities.

    2009 – 2010 School Year
    • Provided education, food, and care for 67 children, preschool to 10th grade, starting in June 2009.
    • Gained support from donors and contributors both in USA and India.
    • Hired Teachers and Staff
    • Converted basic infrastructure and facilities from a day school to a residential school.
    • Four children graduated from 10th grade.
    2010 – 2011 School Year
    • Provided education, food, and care for 60 children, preschool to 10th grade.
    • Made continued improvements to the school building and cooking area.
    • Planted coconut trees.
    • Refurbished 10 computers with donated educational software.
    • Built chicken coop to raise chickens and four cows were donated; to provide eggs and milk for children’s added nutrition.
    • 8 students graduated from 10th grade and moved on to 11th grade.

    2011 – 2012 School Year
    • Provide food, education, and care for 65 children.
    • Volunteers from USA provided a Needs Assessment, addressed mental health needs, and enhanced programs for the children such as: health education, English, art, and music.
    • It is anticipated 2 students will graduate 10th grade.
    • We will have 8 students going to 12th grade next school year June 2012 – April 2013.
    • 50 students are waitlisted for the year 2012-2013.
