General

  • Mission:
  • Blue Springs Organization, Inc (BSO) a non-profit organization in collaboration with the State Court implemented a transitional addiction recovery program that addresses the State of Florida’s chronic problem with drug and alcohol related offences and stopping the revolving door of recidivism.

  • Overview:
  • We would like to take the time out to introduce The Blue Springs Organization, Inc. (a 501(c) 3, Non Profit and The Treatment Group, LLC, a substance abuse treatment center specializing in Pre-trial Diversion in the State of Florida. TTG will focusing on Bay and Walton counties along with also servicing Okaloosa, Jackson, Holmes and Calhoun counties. Our mission is to make sobriety a way of life. To move forward with our new tracks, we are seeking funding as a Planning Grant to allow BSO to hire consultants to apply for a larger grants and have the necessary means for hiring consultants to assist with the acquisition of our facility. We will offer alternative sentencing, pretrial intervention and intervention services to individuals, the criminal justice system, and the community. Our primary purpose is to provide care for the client as well as accountability to the courts.

We have already met with local Representatives, Congressmen, Judges, State Attorney’s office, Drug Court officials, Department of Children and Families and the VA Administration and received their full support. We have completed the necessary studies on how these programs will achieve the savings anticipated for the state and would very much like the The Lawrence Foundation to receive credit in helping us reach these goals by allocating a planning grant to boost the program. Meanwhile, the individuals mentioned above are searching for State and Federal funds that BSO can apply for.

Alternative sentencing and pretrial intervention programs are a necessary means of recovery especially for an individual who is a first time offender on any drug or alcohol related charge. Our program is designed to help and educate the individual on the disease of addiction and of the consequences that may be faced in the future of substance abuse. In lieu of incarceration, an alternative sentencing or pretrial intervention program can be offered by BSO, thus saving the State millions each year.

BSO is offering services to those who are on the verge of being incarcerated. In cases where dismissals or "not guilty" verdicts aren't realistic options, alternative sentencing, such as court-approved placement at a treatment center, may be the best outcome. As long as the alternative program fits the charge and the client meets the criteria, courts will often sentence the client to substance abuse treatment rather than incarceration. The mission of BSO's Alternative Sentencing team is:

•To obtain treatment as an alternative to incarceration
•To help individuals with substance abuse issues successfully navigate the complexities of the legal system by providing the necessary documentation to your attorney and the court.
•To bring hope to all those who are affected by substance abuse

  • History:
  • Blue Springs Organization was founded in April 2012 as a 501(c)(3) Non Profit corporation but planned and collaborated with officials years before the actual establishment of the company. Our organization in conjunction with the court systems and government officials, recieives applications and recomendations for potential pre-trial diversion candidates from the courts systems and provides substance abuse treatment, educational assistance and workforce guidance to all who enroll in our programs. We concentrate on successful treatment, the reduction of recidivism rates and re-entry of clients to help them become productive members of society again.
