  • Mission:
  • Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation’s (CCRF) mission is to deliver simple acts of care and kindness to children and their families experiencing cancer. CCRF annually assists more than 15,000 children under the age of 18, and their families, who are facing the hardships of a cancer diagnosis. CCRF has relationships with over 200 hospitals and oncology centers across the country, creating a national footprint which allows the Foundation to make a difference in communities, large and small, providing a helping hand wherever needed. The Foundation focuses on improving the mental, social and emotional well-being of children with cancer by minimizing the devastation that cancer can cause. CCRF’s goals are to create smiles, inspire hope, and help children rediscover their childhood.

  • Overview:
  • CCRF’s goals are to create smiles, inspire hope, and help children rediscover their childhood. Programs include: Bear-Able Gifts Program – delivering gifts of toys, games and other fun items to children receiving medical treatment for cancer in hospitals – creates smiles; Helping Hands Fund – providing financial assistance to families, helping to give their children what they need most: a parent by their side to give a hug and wipe their tears during treatment – inspires hope; and Camp Scholarship Program – sending children in remission from pediatric cancers to recreational camps of their choice – helps children rediscover their childhood.

  • History:
  • CCRF is a national non-profit organization that is affiliated with the Cancer Recovery Foundation International group of charities, which was founded by cancer survivor Greg Anderson and has been helping people prevent and survive cancer since 1984.
