  • Overview:
  • Blue Ridge Court Services is a public non-profit organization organized under the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act of 1995. BRCS is one of 37 such agencies providing community corrections services to 137 localities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BRCS provides services to seven localities in the central Shenandoah Valley; The Cities of Staunton, Waynesboro, Lexington and Buena Vista and the Counties of Augusta, Highland and Rockbridge. As per the Comprehensive Community Corrections Act of 1995, requiring that all such agencies organized under this act must have a locality serve as their fiscal agent, the City of Staunton serves in that role.
