  • To increase survival rates and decrease the burdens of illness in Grant County through education, early detection, free screenings and advocacy for those facing cancer.

  • Overview:
  • Cancer Services of Grant County helps all cancer patients that live, work, or are treated in Grant County Indiana based on their own set of needs. No two cancer journeys are alike. We embrace each individual and provide the services that they need to make their cancer journey as smooth as possible. Our organization provides financial assistance for medications, medical bills, transportation and supplies and equipment. We also have wigs and hats, home healthcare equipment and supplies and nutritional supplements. We have 60 volunteers that help us transport our clients to appointments and help us educate the community, work in our offices and help us with fund raising. All of our services to cancer patients are free. Our programs are funded through donations, fund raising events and grants. We also provide free mammograms to underserved women in our community.

  • Cancer Services was established in 1959 by local community members to reach out to cancer patients. Grant County Indiana has high rates of cancer. The organization has evolved throughout the decades to encourage, assist, navigate and financially assist those facing cancer in Grant County. We started by doing home visits, providing home healthcare equipment and bed pads as well as transportation. Today we provide financial assistance for medicines, medical bills, free mammograms, educational outreach throughout the community, patient navigation, gas vouchers, transportation, home visits, wigs/hats, ostomy supplies breast prosthetics and bras, nutritional supplements, more support and more. And, every service we provide is free of charge.
