  • Mission:
  • Center For Technology & Institutional Advancement, Inc. (CTiA) believes that all human beings have intrinsic value and therefore have the potential to be valuable to society. We believe that each person has been fearfully and wonderfully created. By acknowledging the uniqueness of each individual; and by teaching individuals to accept and demonstrate their worth in creative ways, we help them to advance their respective Institutions; hence they are more likely to find accountability desirable. Fueled by these beliefs our organization has moved toward asset-based economic and human capital development. We are on a mission to empower youth and adults through the use of sustainable, comprehensive strategies [as technology is integrated into a broader context], and training in order to prepare each individual to take advantage of economic opportunity, when it arises, that promotes solutions leading to personal-sufficiency.

  • Overview:
  • Over the past twenty-three years CTiA has engaged in many charitable activities that support vulnerable populations. Education and solutions for human capital development; however, remains our focus as research has shown a strong correlation between education and the ability for individuals to achieve sustainable economies and lifestyles.
We have helped low-income individuals in housing projects to start small businesses. We teach youth and adults entrepreneurship through our S.T.E.P. © Programming for youth and "Entre Dans" Small Business Project for adults. We run “Poverty-to-Promise” academic Summer Sizzler Camps to prevent learning loss over the summer. We operate a year round academic after-school program for youth who are struggling in math and reading.
We teach youth leadership skills, career readiness and provide job placements in community based environments as our young people learn to promote our corporate and foundation partners as community heroes. We operate a food distribution called “Food for Life Ministries”. With the volunteer help of our local Veteran task force, we have fed more than 600 men, women and children, over the past four months alone. We are expanding our reach to under gird youth aging out of foster care into adulthood and to provide Veterans and transitioning military personnel with comprehensive reintegration programming and support.

  • History:
