  • Mission:
  • Hope Food Share Program, Inc.
    H elp O vercome P overty E veryday

It is our mission to provide food for all individuals, with no regards to race, sex, origin, etc. It is also our intention to help alleviate an already overburdened social service system, by providing immediate assistance to the individual in need.
Hope Food is a registered Non Profit 501 3 ©. It was developed to help address the issues of hunger in the city of Escondido, and its surrounding counties. Hope Food was started by one family, and is supported by volunteers with the same goals and interests in mind, especially in the area of hunger.
Hope Food serves the general public. This program is unique from other food programs or food banks because there are no qualifications, or requirements. This program is for anyone struggling to put food on their table.
Hope Food addresses the issues of hunger on a daily basis. San Diego’s population is at 1.25 million people. There are approximately 190,000 individuals who go hungry everyday, which is an astounding 15% who go hungry in just the city of San Diego. Hope Food meets the needs of the individual immediately. There are no lines, no waiting periods, no red tape, people are fed everyday. The challenge of this program is finding enough money, and enough quality food.

  • History:
  • Hope Food has serviced over 136,000 families, with new families arriving everyday. Social Service programs have shown interest in our efforts, and have recommended our program to their clients. Community Churches, and caring neighbors have participated in our programs in an effort to provide comfort to a friend in need. The results have been enormous. There are no limitations to what this organization can accomplish, we can only limit ourselves.
