  • Mission:
  • At AnnAvanse, Verrettes.Inc our mission is to contribute in helping communities in Haiti, starting with the region of Verrettes to have access to health, and education.
These two areas remain our main focus. Due to the widespread lack of resources these two goals remain beyond reach. Our goal is now to create a source of revenue that would enable parents to satisfy those needs in their families.
With a source of revenue they can take their children to a good Hospital and have access to medical the care needed.
With a source of revenue they can afford their children schools tuition.
Consequently more children will be educated and more ready to learn.
Our first work over there in Verrettes , last year- September 2013- was to distribute the Cholera kits to the residents of Verrettes. Thanks to the graceful support of the International Office for Migration we were able to help a pretty good number of individuals in the region.

  • Overview:
  • We understand that a lot of resources have been squandered in the name of the Haitian people. This is causing a serious hurdle to real honest folks to do something lasting for their people. At AnnAvanse, Verrettes Inc. we are determined to establish a facility that would produce fish and poultry. Fish for schools, hospitals and orphanages could be a great source of nutrients for these poor children; the chicken could be a great source of revenue for families.
The company will produce, and the goods will be distributed for Free for retail purposes. In the process, young individuals will be educated on the matter of fish and poultry production, managing their own enterprise, securing a good health and a sure access to education.
We do not believe that the Hand-out system works for Haiti. We want them to prioritize Education and Health, but a lump sum of money every now and then is not the solution. Some Foundations must now understand that without providing the people with a durable income generating activity our region will continue to run in spiral, going nowhere.
We give ourselves a two year deadline for all this to take place. From November 2014 to November 2016 the whole region will be affected by our work. And for sanitary purpose we would love for each distributor to receive a Coleman or Igloo type of cooler that will be used for the hygienic conservation of the products they will sell to the community.

  • History:
  • It all started with a Facebook group "Verrettes" that we created . The Group was at first created to promote the products and the people of the region. Then we were ask to come with something more. We then created a website Following to that we presented to the people what could be done in Verrettes after 60 years. The metallic Water reservoir built in the mid 50s is out of use. The sewer system is shut down. Many other reasons give us a reason to be heard. Because no one has done anything after 1950s it became like unheard of that some people are coming with news ideas. The doubt put on us was that of talkers, or how they are going to to it. This community mostly relies on checks, or money transfer from the U.S. to get by.
We realized also that parents have become more lenient to their young children. Unable to provide for them they let them loose to go and get a means of survival. As a result, they have to quit schools due to early pregnancy.
Our Experience has been mostly in the field of Benevolence, in Church activities of the Kings Church of Christ such as Food Distribution, Visiting to sick in Nursing homes and Hospitals, helping to organize Back to School Rallies.
We are based in Brooklyn, NY and we work in close contact with Group Leaders in Haiti to cause good things to happen.
    We are a 501(c)(3) company. EIN# 46-3955542
