  • Overview:
  • At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dundee Township (BGGDT), we believe that every young person deserves to live a life filled with hope and opportunity. In Carpentersville, nearly 2,000 youth participate at seven (7) Clubs every year. We are excited and proud to open our eighth (8th) BGCDT Club Unit – Sunny Hill Elementary School on Aug. 20th. This expansion will be our fourth new Club Unit opening in the last three years, which is phenomenal growth for a Boys & Girls Club organization. In fact, these expansions place our organization among the Top 5 largest Boys & Girls Clubs organizations in the State of Illinois (out of 27 total Illinois BGC organization).

For the past 17 years BGCDT has been in the forefront of youth development, serving as the largest youth development agency in the Fox Valley region, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social, and family circumstances. Over 90% of the Club members we serve reside in low-income households. Our membership fees are only $25 a year, providing affordable afterschool programs, including a daily supper and snack at each of our BCGDT Unit locations, five days per week, over 240 days per year. Our mission is to provide all youth, especially those that need us the most, with every possible resource to lead to productive and responsible future.

As a proud member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, BGCDT is recognized as one of the strongest local organizations in the Midwest Region, comprising of over 13 states. BGCDT has been recognized for several state and regional awards, both through Board and Professional staff leadership.
