  • Mission:
  • The mission of Brown County Oral Health Partnership (OHP) is to improve the oral health of the Brown County, WI community by providing dental services and oral health education to the underserved and uninsured children who have no access to care and no dentists of their own.

  • Overview:
  • OHP dental care and education is provided for students from Pre-K through grade 12. OHP dentists, hygienists and assistants travel to different schools with mobile equipment up to five days a week to create an in-school dental office. We also see patients in our two clinics that are collaboratively housed with our local Salvation Army Kroc Center and the Howe Community Resource Center. OHP's commitment to providing dental education, preventative and primary care services is crucial to reducing the number of children needing restorative dental services in the future. OHP relies on three sources of funding to operate: Medicaid reimbursement, grants and donations from foundations, community organizations and individual donations.

  • History:
  • Thanks to the leadership and funding from the Green Bay Rotary Club, "Healthy Teeth, Healthy Kids," a mobile, in-school dental clinic (school-based program) was created in 2005. In conjunction with this initiative, the Oral Health Partnership incorporated as a non-profit in 2007 to continue the work started by the Green Bay Rotary Club. In 2007, OHP opened its first fixed-site dental clinic at the Howe Community Resource Center and continued to expand with the opening of a second dental clinic at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in 2011. OHP now has 4 permanent clinic sites and 17 satellite locations in Brown County; providing almost 6 million in services to over 12,000 existing patients and 2,086 new patients annually.
