In today's world, young people are faced with enormous challenges -- from poverty to the high school dropout crisis to an obesity epidemic -- that threaten their chance to have great futures. At the Boys and Girls Clubs of Brea, Placentia & Yorba Linda, we strive to give our community's youth a safe place to be while parents are at work, during the after-school hours when they are most at risk of engaging in negative and risky behaviors, and giving them productive by providing the programs and experiences that allow kids the opportunity to pursue academic success, good character and citizenship, and a healthy lifestyle -- all under the guidance of caring, trained, trustworthy adult leaders.

BGCBPYL has strategically and successfully reduced risks by meeting personal and social needs of youth in our community in order to build the capacities they will need later in life to become successful adults. We give these kids the safe and secure environment required to provide opportunity to begin to contribute positively to the community, others, and themselves. BGCBPYL gives our members skills and competencies that equip them to make positive choices, build relationships, and succeed in life. We hope that you will partner with us as we seek innovative pathways to keeping our members engaged and focused on being healthy and active, in school and graduating, and inspired creatively and in the years beyond their time with us.
