  • History:
  • Established in 2003, incorporated in 2007, and granted nonprofit status in 2008, provides reentry preparation services at San Quentin State Prison. We currently have a staff of two (paid on a part-time basis) plus a volunteer staff of 25 providing 150 to 200 client contacts per week. We received our first grant funding in 2008, and are working toward full program funding and program expansion. We continue to grow to meet the demand at San Quentin, and we receive increasing numbers of letters from prisoners in other institutions seeking the assistance they need for successful reentry.
