Description:

The mission of CREATE ACTION is to amplify the efforts of social justice organizations. Our emphasis is on organizations committed to social justice causes, (i.e., service to underserved and under-represented communities), via photography, videography, filmmaking or a related field to create lasting positive change within those communities.

Through an ongoing collaboration with Sony that includes direct funding, creative storytelling, Sony products, and marketing support, CREATE ACTION grants will make meaningful differences for local organizations and the communities they serve.

Over the duration of the CREATE ACTION program, we will award 10 grants between November 1, 2024 and February 16, 2025. To qualify, an organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) with an annual budget of $500,000 or less. Once you’ve submitted an application, it remains active for consideration through February 16, 2025.
