Foster Care and Family Reconciliation

Description:

The Kitsap Community Foundation (KCF) supports charitable organizations that improve the quality of life in Kitsap County and surrounding areas by achieving measurable outcomes that have positive impacts in our community.

The Sound Institute of Family and Children’s Services Endowment Fund, managed by the Kitsap Community Foundation, typically provides grants a portion of a project, program, or operating budget.

The Foundation anticipates that this grant will help leverage other resources to aid Foster Care and Family Reconciliation. An organization may apply for two years of grant funding of up to $15,000 total. If you request a two-year grant, your program/project budget must include the first year’s income and expense budget, in addition to a projected budget for the second year. You may request up to $7,500 for each year. If awarded a grant, you may receive less than your original request. Second year funding will be contingent upon your organization’s progress toward achieving measurable outcomes and Foundation Board decision.

All awarded grant recipients will be given a free ticket to the Kitsap Community Foundation's annual gala event, the Kitsap County Celebration of Philanthropy.

If your organization has previously applied for a grant through Common Grant Application, please use your existing profile. If you do not have that information or need it changed, please contact Common Grant Application. Please DO NOT set up a new account.
